On Wednesday, 17th September, we transformed the historic Queen’s House in Greenwich into a one-of-a-kind immersive dining experience. Hosted by our CEO, Francesco Mutti, the exclusive evening brought guests together to celebrate what has been our passion since 1899 – the tomato. A striking red carpet led the way to the venue, a vivid symbol of our signature ingredient, setting the tone for an evening of storytelling, innovation, and taste.
Guests enjoyed bespoke Mutti cocktails before embarking on a sensory journey through the life of the tomato, from seed to harvest. Each person received a customised Mutti Polpa tin, transformed into a personal audio device through which Francesco shared the inspiration behind every course. The four-course menu showcased the creativity and versatility of our products, from tomato gel with bocconcini and lion’s mane to basil and ricotta girella pasta, golden beetroot tarte tatin, and a gilded ‘Mutti tin’ dessert concealing a Bloody Mary tomato sorbet.
The evening concluded with a spectacular projection show bringing the Queen’s House to life with golden lions, sunlit fields, and flowing rivers of tomatoes. This cinematic finale celebrated our heritage, sustainability, and dedication to quality, closing with our campaign message: Deceptively Simple. A truly unforgettable experience!
