What is the Queen’s House?
Designed by the pioneering architect Inigo Jones, the Queen’s House is a masterpiece of 17th-century architecture. Conceived as a ‘House of Delight’ for James I’s wife, Queen Anne, this exquisite former royal residence is set in the leafy surroundings of Greenwich Park with spectacular views of the River Thames and the contrasting skyscrapers of Canary Wharf beyond. The House was designed as a place of celebration; a tradition that continues today, making it the ideal venue for our Mutti Immersive Dining Experience.
